Next stop: Ljubljana! Bringing STEAM stories to life

FASTEAM is heading to Ljubljana, Slovenia, for our next international project meeting! Partners from the Netherlands, Croatia, Slovenia and North Macedonia will come together again to share progress and take the next step in developing practical ways to bring schools, children and families together through STEAM.

Since our training in Skopje, an important milestone has been reached: the Together Tool has been finalised and is now ready for schools and teachers to use. In Ljubljana, we will build on that work and turn our attention to the next FASTEAM result: STEAM Storytime with Experiments.

The idea is to bring storytelling and hands-on STEAM activities together. Stories can spark children’s curiosity and imagination, while simple experiments give them the opportunity to explore, investigate and discover for themselves. During the meeting, partners will start working together on how to turn this idea into engaging activities that can be used with children and their families.

Ljubljana will be an opportunity to exchange ideas, develop the first concepts and learn from each other’s experiences. And, as always in FASTEAM, there will also be time to strengthen our international partnership and get to know our host country and its educational context.

From family engagement plans to stories and experiments, FASTEAM continues to turn ideas into practical resources that make STEAM accessible, creative and fun for everyone.
